• Oom Tom Cottage

Dwarsberg is die perfekte plek vir n wegbreek saam die gesin! Die Tant kappie huisie kon ons hele gesin akkommodeer en die kinders het hulslf gate uit geniet! Genoeg plek om fiets te ry, te swem en te baljaar. Baie vriendelike personeel wat die ekstra myle gaan vir die gaste. Die kiosk verskaf al die nodige items, so dit was glad nie nodig om dorp toe te ry nie. Ons kom beslis weer.

• Tant Kappie Cottage

The staff is so welcoming and friendly! Everyone is treated like family at Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway.
The pod houses are amazing, we had a peak at the others too. Appreciated the assistance with the wood-fired hot tub. The Pizza's at the bistro is a must! They even offered to deliver our food to our unit. We will be back soon! The place is heaven on earth!

The Bistro meals were delicious, staff is so friendly and helpful.
The unit is spacious and has everything and more you will need for a getaway. The wood fired hot tub is amazing, and situated perfectly for breath taking views of the mountains and vineyards.
We have already made two more bookings, and cannot wait to be back.

Baie dankie ons het dit so geniet, die huis is so prakties uitgelê en selfs met kinders kan ons dit geniet en ontspan. Sal definitief weer kom.

Hierdie is 'n verskriklike mooi plek. So rustig. Mens kon jouself hier herontdek. Mens raak een met die natuur. Baie dankie.

Advise guests it is best to stay more than two nights. this place is AMAZING! Thank you so much for allowing us to spend part of our honeymoon here. Lots of Love

Absolute magic, Loved every moment

What a peaceful retreat! There is a reason this campsite is one of the best around. Each lot is completely private and unique, with stunning views and quiet and a lovely freshwater swimming hole. I’d recommend this to everyone! We went during the week and absolutely loved that.

We camp here on the weekend of the 28th of Febr 2020. What an absolute experience. If you want tranquility, this is the place to be. Well looked after lawns and bathrooms are very neat. Just a pity it is fully booked all the time. Will definitely return. I can recommend this place a 100%

Peaceful , beautiful place with excellent service and a unique accommodation experience. Loved the style of the accommodation, and how it so beautifully encompassed the nature around it . If you're a fan of walking , then you'll be incredibly pleased by the beauty this place offers on your morning / evening walk . The staff were so helpful and friendly. We will return for more👏

We love camping at Dwarsberg. Facilities are clean. Each site has their own bathroom. It feels as if you have the campsite to yourselves. The river is crystal clear and great for swimming. Definitely recommend it!

Little hidden gem. Long dirty road, but all the campsites are on the river. Clean and tranquil.

We really enjoyed the past weekend. The place itself is very beautiful. The ablution area clean and more than decent. The staff very helpful. Would go back anytime They gave us the code to the gate ahead of time as we arrived after 7pm. Our view in the morning on campsite 2 was spectacular. We took a short hike on Saturday amongst the pear orchards and vineyard, wow, this was awesome. I took a brief dip in the river as it was icy cold, what an experience. Must be quite nice to swim in warmer months. Well done Dwarsberge. Sedick & family

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view from the stoep of Tant Sarie was great. The clear skies made star gazing at pleasure. We will return.

Spent the Easter weekend at the cottages and would highly recommend Dwarsberg. Stunning scenery, activities for kids, clean and cosy cottages. Definitely has a feel of being away from it all and living on a farm in the mountains.

We always have a great stay at Dwarsberg, the cottages are quaint, rustic and perfect for a weekend getaway. The river pools offer a much needed cool down after a long bike ride or hike up the valley. Go there to chill out, relax and disconnect from the 'real' world. Although they are fully booked most weekends, it never feels busy as the campsites are so far apart.

Just spent the most amazing night at oom eddy. If you have the opportunity to visit this space. Take it. Clean their attention to detail make it absolutely luxurious. It's a place away from everting. No TV but nature and everything else makes it the most romantic getaway! Can't wait to go there again. Will recommend them to everyone.
